The Central Coast CLCA Chapter kicked off the new year with a gathering at Pour Taproom in Santa Cruz, a favorite venue because of the wide selection of interesting beverages. The partying followed the first chapter meeting of the year led by Justin White our new president. Find in these slide shows a few pictures from that enjoyable night with peers.
Thank you to everyone who came out and enjoyed this event!

Dear CLCA Stakeholders,
It’s all about networking! This past month we had our first event of 2019 at Pour Taproom downtown Santa Cruz. Thank you to everyone who came out, it was a huge success! During the evening I had the pleasure of talking with a fellow contractor and I realized the power that networking can provide. Talent development is something we all have to keep up with due to the labor shortage our industry is dealing with, I came away with some great new ideas. We often think we are alone with these challenges but the truth is we have a great community in the CLCA of fellow contractors who are dealing with similar, or even the exact same, challenges you are going through. For your utilization, there is a “Peer Consulting” page on the CLCA website where you can connect with contractors all over California. Go check it out here: CLCA Peer Group.
We have our 2019 Suppliers Night coming up on March 19th at the Seascape Golf Club in Aptos. This is a great opportunity to learn about new products coming out from our suppliers, and to do some networking! Register online here. If you know of a C-27 contractor that is not already a CLCA member, please invite them to join us as this is a free event for all C-27 contractors. I hope to see many of you there.
To our success,
Justin White
