Well just like that... 2019 is halfway over, it flew by! How did your New Year resolutions go? How about your business’ growth and development goals? Personal growth goals? This is a great time to sit down, evaluate and reset your annual goals and initiatives. We often get so busy during the year that we forget to reflect on the goals we set back in December and January! Try to spend a few hours in a peaceful setting and give yourself some time to reflect.
What an amazing show of support for the local landscape industry at our Beautification Awards Banquet! Many people from all over the state came to Santa Cruz to celebrate beautiful gardens and a passion for what we do. It really is a labor of love for us landscapers and it was so great seeing the winners get recognized for their hard work and dedication for perfection.
What more do you want out of the CLCA? We are always looking for ways to provide massive value to the membership and too often the ideas come from board meetings and not from the general membership. I decided to get involved a few years back because I felt there was a need for more business advice, employee training and day-to-day guidance in an ever-changing industry. That need is always changing and growing due to new regulations, a tight labor market and of course, the economy. This is a request for ideas and feedback on how the CLCA can better serve you. If you have time drop me a line, email me or simply come to the next board meeting, I want to hear from you!
To our success,
Justin White

This is a free show outside, under the lights, in the courtyard. Featuring danceable songs for all. Support the guys as they celebrate Andrew Tuckman’s 50th birthday with a champagne toast at 6:40pm from the stage.
