Events are back!
We are gearing up for a busy summer over here on the central coast. We have the golf tournament just a few days away and then Beautification Award entries that are due in a few weeks with an award banquet/bbq planned for late August. I am beyond excited to get together with everyone and see all your smiling faces. The fact that our chapter stayed strong through the last 18 months is a testament to the great volunteer board we have. I want to thank all of our board members who take time out of their busy schedules to make these events happen, attend our board meetings, and put together these great newsletters!
We are beginning our search for 2022 board members, so if you are interested in getting involved with our local chapter we would love for you to attend one of our upcoming board meetings and see what all the fun is about. It’s a great way to network, give back to our industry, and create progress in our community. Please feel free to email me at any time so I can get you information on our next board meeting and answer any questions you may have.
In case you missed it, we had two great educational events in May. One on creating a profitable landscape company and the other on controller programming and education. If there is a topic you are interested in please drop me a line so we can help fill that need. Our goal is to provide education for your entire company, from the front-line workers all the way up to the owners. A big shout out to Michael Johnson for providing us with a controller programming class at a time when irrigation management is becoming a hot button issue, not only locally, but industry-wide. If you are interested in getting the recording from these events please email me directly and I will share them with you!
I know everyone is in the middle of their busiest time of the year so I will keep it short and leave you with this inspiring quote: “Today's accomplishments were yesterday's impossibilities” —Robert H. Schuller.
To our success,
Justin White
