Amanda Keith: A Journey of Growth, Leadership, and Passion for Plants

Amanda Keith’s professional journey is a story of dedication, adaptability, and an unwavering passion for both leadership and horticulture. Born in Gilroy and raised on a small farm in San Martin, Amanda developed a strong work ethic and deep appreciation for nature from an early age.

After graduating from Live Oak High School in 1999, Amanda embarked on her career at Johnson Lumber/Ace Hardware, where she steadily worked her way up to the accounting department. Her keen attention to detail and commitment to excellence set her apart early on.

In 2006, Amanda transitioned to Johnson Garden Center, marking a pivotal moment in her career. It was there that she discovered her true passion for plants, eagerly assisting customers with garden design and deepening her knowledge of horticulture. This passion led her to a wholesale nursery, where she further honed her skills in management, growing techniques, and landscape design.

By 2013, Amanda had expanded her expertise beyond retail and growing operations, taking on the role of Office Manager for a commercial landscape company. Her ability to manage both people and operations seamlessly made her an invaluable asset in the industry.

Her career path ultimately brought her to Devil Mountain, where she continues to leverage her experience in sales, management, and team building. Rising through the ranks from Sales to Sales Manager and eventually General Manager, Amanda has consistently demonstrated strong leadership, exceptional customer service, and an eye for detail.

Beyond her professional achievements, Amanda enjoys spending her spare time with her wife, Maria, and their two beloved French Bulldogs, Dayzee and Leela. Whether she’s leading a team, designing landscapes, or relaxing at home, Amanda’s passion and dedication shine through in every aspect of her life.
