Devil Mountain Wholesale Nursery

Located at the base of its namesake Mount Diablo, Devil Mountain Wholesale Nursery was established in 1995 to overcome the restricted plant and tree palette offered to landscape professionals. The nursery has evolved over time from solely brokering plants, to also growing plants in their mission to meet customer needs and maintain top quality material. Devil Mountain has been serving Northern California for over 25 years and has recently expanded into Southern California with the acquisition of Brightview Tree Company in October 2020. Today, we operate ten locations throughout California, where customers can find plants and trees (from 4" to 120" box +), soils, soil amendments, hand tools, stakes, and more. We deliver plants directly to job sites 5 days a week, and we offer a Will Call pickup service at our yard.

Opened in 2018, our Morgan Hill nursery has quickly become a cornerstone in the Bay Area landscape industry. The Sales Team there has set the industry standard for customer service and expert staff knowledge with over 100 years of combined landscape and horticultural experience.

In Fall 2021, Devil Mountain will be introducing large specimen trees to our Morgan Hill store, serving customers throughout Santa Clara, Monterey, Santa Cruz, and San Benito Counties.

Meet our Morgan Hill Sales Team!

Amanda Keith, General Manager ­– Amanda quickly discovered her passion for plants & garden design after working for Johnson Garden Center in 2006. Her next opportunity was at a wholesale nursery where she expanded her management, growing, and design skills. In 2013, Amanda began working as an office manager for a commercial landscape company before jumping on board with Devil Mountain.

Bill Holliday – Bill has many years of experience as a manager and buyer for a busy retail nursery and has devoted substantial time to honing his skills as a professional Horticulturalist. Bill’s plant focus and extensive world travel have added an understanding of plants afforded to very few. Bill shares his knowledge widely and is our resident expert on succulents and cacti.

Jose Luis Ceballos – Jose Luis has been involved with the nursery and agricultural industry for over twenty years and has experience with not only sales, but all aspects of plant production, from order processing to loading trucks and operating machinery.

Renee Erez – The beginnings of Renee’s landscape career were spent designing public parks, schools, and trails before shifting focus to high-end residential design. She has been involved in all aspects of landscape construction and maintenance, including a brief spell as the owner of a landscape makeover operation.

Jesse Brown – After graduating college, Jesse worked as a Municipal Park Ranger during winter months, and in nursery sales during summers. During his time as a Park Ranger, Jesse gained crucial knowledge of sustainable landscape management that he exercises daily with customers at Devil Mountain Wholesale Nursery.

Melissa Wilson – Melissa has over 25 years of experience in the horticultural industry, with her beginnings rooted in nursery color production before shifting to the wholesale sector. Melissa brings to the Devil Mountain team a strong background in nursery operations, customer service, and sales.
