West Coast Turf’s Will Barragan

My name is Will Barragan, and for just over five years I’ve been the Northern California sales representative with West Coast Turf. West Coast Turf has been a leader in the sod farming industry since 1991. We currently have multiple farms throughout Arizona, Southern California, and Northern California markets. We specialize in selling high-quality turf for home, landscape, golf, and sports fields.  

West Coast Turf offers many warm and cool season varieties, geared for best performance as well as drought tolerance. We provide sod locally to Central California from our farms in Livingston and Patterson, and blanket Bakersfield to the coast, spanning up to the North Bay and across to Truckee/Tahoe. 

I was born and raised in Cypress, CA. At age 20 I made the move to Merced to finish the Fire Academy, and then joined two stations for volunteer firefighting. I worked for a swimming pool company, and finally found my way to employment at West Coast Turf. On weekends I like to find myself doing anything fun! I enjoy riding my Harley, boating/water skiing, snowboarding, going on casual hikes, and playing with my two pups, Zaya and Mulani. By far the most enjoyment I get is mowing my lawn and making sure it looks great. I guess that’s what happens when you’re 31! 

My favorite part of this industry is the people I’ve come to meet, and the relationships that are created in it. I’m looking forward to being a part of the bigger picture. Feel free to reach out any time, I am always happy to help!
