We are all in this together…
2020 will go down in history as one of the most challenging years our country has ever endured and we’ve yet to even reach the final quarter. Right now in California we are faced with such uncertainty and it can be hard to focus on anything other than the fires, politics, protests, and pandemic. These are the times we need to stand up and lead, to stay strong and set positive examples for our community; we are all in this together. One of the best leadership activities I have witnessed is a simple phone call to let others know you are there for support and stability. I challenge you to make one phone call today to someone that needs to hear from you. Be positive and try to inspire hope, we all have someone in our lives that could use a little support right now.
Our Central Coast Chapter is excited to announce that our annual “Liar’s Club Invitational” golf tournament is coming up on Thursday, September 10th and it’s time to sign up! The tournament will be held at Spring Hills Golf Course in Watsonville, CA and start at 9:00am. Both members and non-members are welcome. Several modifications will be in place due to Covid-19 safety, so please be sure to bring a mask and follow all social distancing guidelines. For more information and where to sign up, please visit: CLCA Liar’s Club Invitational. Registration is online only and ends on September 6th, so sign up today!
Did you catch the CLCA ad in our local Santa Cruz Sentinel newspaper? We are always trying to improve the value of your membership and one of the ways we are doing that is by promoting brand awareness of the CLCA. This helps potential clients understand the benefits of hiring a CLCA member and helps you stand out from your competition. Are you making sure to include the differentiating fact that you are a CLCA member when submitting proposals to your clients? This month’s CLCA member benefit is free logos and stickers. Make sure you stand out from the pack by branding yourself as a CLCA member, it makes a difference! (See our ad directly below this message.)
Please remember you are not alone; the CLCA is a family and we come together to help each other in times of need. There is a tremendous amount of stress right now on the central coast with so many of our loved ones being affected by the wildfires, Covid-19, and other challenges. We are here to offer aid and provide support. Please don’t hesitate to email me directly if you are in need and we will pull resources together to make sure everyone gets through this difficult time. No matter how big or small the favor may be, there is a network of wonderful people here more than willing to help out. Please stay safe out there and continue to raise the bar for our landscape industry.
To your success,
Justin White
